Goodbye, Cull TV. Hello MOX.

Cull TV was acquired one year ago. At the time, we decided to keep the service running as long as we could; today, we’re saying goodbye.

It’s been wonderful to build Cull TV for you and see the many ways in which you’ve used it - from record labels discovering new talent to music lovers discovering their next favorite artist. This has been an incredible journey.

While we are sad to say goodbye, we’re also excited for our next adventure. You can find us over at MOX, where we continue to make music television.

This festival is one of the largest of its kind in the country and happens annually in Dallas, Texas on December 30th and 31st. Juan Data, Argentine music journalist, DJ, and producer extraordinaire, presents “Latin But Cool”.

Known for his dark humor, Data has been writing for English and Spanish-language audiences since 1997. Soul Khan Brings His Distinct Voice to Cull TV

Today, we’re featuring Brooklyn MC, Soul Khan. Leaving battle rapping for recording in the Fall of last year, Soul Khan released his first album in November 2011, which you can download for free on his website. Since then, he has released Acknowledgement and Resolution, the first two installments of a four part series slated for release over the next few years.

Soul Khan kicks off New Music Television with “Soul Like Khan” and in our One-Time! channel, you can see him dressed up as a super hero in “Speeding Bullets”, which comes from his Acknowledgement EP.

Metrojolt TV - Now Powered by Cull

Music mavens Metrojolt have built up a following on the West Coast by posting tracks and interviewing artists since 2009. With a broad selection of indie, hip-hop, and electronic tracks and extensive commentary, they’re quickly becoming a go-to source for new music. Naturally, we found ourselves aligned on this front and are pleased to announce a partnership this week.

If you go to the ‘TV’ section of the Metrojolt site, you’ll find music video stations running via Cull TV. We think Metrojolt is really on to something here and we’ll look forward to more partners using Cull TV’s network to power video on their site.

In the meanwhile, you’ll be able to access their channels on Cull throughout the week in the Featured Channels section.
